Duff loves dogs … and he loves drawing them for you and your students. Here’s his Pointer (what other dog would you expect for a Position focus!!) facing either left or right. Put it onto a set of cards for students to use in a direction activity. Throw a die and jump that many spaces to the left or right. Try using both the left and the right Pointer on a set of large cards. Ask your students to stand in a straight line. Reveal one of the cards and call out a number from 1-10. Everyone then jumps/hops/skips/walks that many spaces. What will you use these 2 dogs for in your classroom?
